Indigo Island Update
Metallus Saturday, March 24, 2001
I recently got some news from Raudaschl on the progress of his Indigo Island project. Here's what he said:
"Indigo Island up to 18%. Looking good. Expect a demo in July. Updated graphics, new music recorded by music band in wales in MP3. Looking for AGAST programmer and concept artist, as well as a FLASH artist."
If you are interested in joining up on this project, E-Mail him or catch him at the next Grim Gathering.

Daniel writes: "Will Grim work on Windows ME OS? I've tried to play it on my cousins computer that has Windows ME and it keeps crashing. Is there a patch? Please let me know. I appreciate it."
I will be loading Windows ME this weekend to test out whether Grim runs correctly. If anyone knows the answer though, feel free to send us your thoughts.
Update: Earthworm sent the following: "I use Win ME and have installed and played Grim Fandango without any problems. The person having problems should update their drivers as this may solve the problem."
Tim speaks about XBOX
ZeroXcape Friday, March 9, 2001
Frightener forwarded me a Microsoft Press Release yesterday containing the following information about everyone's favorite designer Tim Schafer. Here is what it had to say:
"Xbox is the first and best chance there is to create the games we've been hoping to do for years," said Tim Schafer, game designer and founder of Double Fine Productions. "Having Microsoft as a publisher is great because they've got the determination and resources to make the game right, and to bring it to an enormous worldwide audience. They're also exciting to work with because of their commitment not just to future-generation technology, but to future-generation content."
Largest Turnout Ever at Grim Gathering!
Metallus Wednesday, March 7, 2001
If you made it to last week's Grim Gathering (and many did), you already know that it was the biggest ever! After a few weeks of waning interest, the attendance last week shot up twofold. Many new faces appeared at the meeting, as well as some regulars. The switch to AUSTNET did not hinder the turnout at all. The topic of last week's discussion was Indigo Island the fan sequel to Grim Fandango. The project leader of this game, Raudaschl was in attendance, and answered some questions about it. Check out the log at Bones of Life for details!
